[Book Review] The Color of Bee Larkham’s Murder by Sarah J. Harris

If you read my reviews, you know how much I love piecing together a mystery, finding tucked away clues and putting all the pieces of the puzzle together – way before the end. The more cleaver the author in their way of leading me astray or doubting my abilities, the more I’m engaged. This one had me engaged not only because of the mystery but because of how unique Jasper was.

[Book Review] Ghosted by Rosie Walsh

I only glanced at the blurb and was intrigued by what I read. Now, I cannot confirm or deny if I’ve ever ghosted or been ghosted but I know people who have. – Gives a sly wink. What I can do however is confirm that I have indeed experienced that “soul mate” moment and it’s something one never forgets. The way Rosie Walsh described that intense connection really brought back many fond memories. I loved the part where the two spent the perfect day together. Le Sigh.

I’m extremely influenced by beautiful book covers. I know I’m not the only one out there. The cover for Her Pretty Face is sublime. Not only visually but to the touch as well. [Book Review] The Showrunner by Kim Moritsugu

Looking for a light summer read ? I think I have the perfect pic for you. This is one of those novels that I don’t think I would have picked up but so glad I dove into it. The setting and characters are so far removed from my everyday reality yet I could relate to the intense rivalry between Stacey and Ann. I lived through something similar when I was younger and career driven and let me just say; I’m so glad I got out of that environment when I did.
