About me pages are such a pain to write.
Would you like me to tell you how I wear mismatched socks or have trouble keeping house plants alive? Perhaps you’d love to hear about how I hate to shop for clothes or find vintage stamps fascinating? (why, I have no clue) No, wait… you’d rather know that I prefer my poutine with spaghetti sauce and that my favorite place in the world is Tadoussac, Quebec.
Basically, I’m just like everyone else… taking one step in front of the other and trying to make it work. The trick is to do things that are enjoyable along the way. I think my blog has turned into just that! It’s morphed into an exploration of the things I love. Books, photography, cooking and all the little magic that perfumes my day.
When I started this blog, I didn’t know exactly what shape it would take, I just knew (since I decided to stop photographing professionally) that I needed some sort of creative outlet. Slowly this blog took the shape it has now, featuring my love of a great read. There is a whole story behind my love of books, I hope I’ll write it down one day.
I’m someone who is very private and it is hard for me to open up… but I’m trying. I suggest you follow my “Embracing More Page” if you’d like to know more about what is going on in my life. Or follow any of my other social buttons, my favorite is Instagram.
This is me.
